International Service News

You read it here first.  The International Service Committee is getting ready to buy sewing machines!

Sewing machines! Why?

Our Rotary is funding the Kawempe Sewing Project to teach Ugandans who have AIDS/HIV how to sew book bags, computer sleeves, aprons and more!

Why?

They need a source of income to buy food and pay school fees (not free in Uganda).
$$?

To launch the program, Moorestown Rotary will invest $2,000.00.  For the rest, committee members will visit other local Rotary Clubs and ask them to partner with us.

Stay tuned for more on the Kawempe Sewing Project!
